A big Bishopsgate welcome to the latest business to join our community – Pan Pacific – which has opened its doors at number 80 Houndsditch in the new One Bishopsgate Plaza complex.
The tagline for the organisation is “Proudly Singaporean in the heart of the city” and it’s really warming to see the hotel celebrate the long and colourful history of the City of London within its design.
Meeting Place on the fifth floor consists of five meeting rooms names after coaching inns that once graced Bishopsgate in the mid-1400s. These are the White Hart, Four Swans, Magpie, Green Dragon and Black Bull. In addition, the Market Square meeting rooms on the third floor are names after local markets: Columbia Road, Brick Lane, Spitalfields and Leadenhall.
Pan Pacific London is home to signature restaurant Straits Kitchen showcasing Singaporean-style dining, Ginger Lily, a lively cocktail bar and The Orchid Lounge, a timeless elegant living room serving Kopi Tiam, our bespoke Singaporean-inspired afternoon tea. The complex also celebrates the Grab and Go Patisserie lead by Executive Pastry Chef and Bake-Off judge, Cherish Finden and it is uniquely pet friendly.
The Bishopsgate Plaza encapsulates a 43-storey bronze tower, home to Pan Pacific London and a number of private residential apartments. As a pet-loving hotel, we welcome your 4-legged friends.
I wish Anne, the General Manager, and all of our team the best of luck with this brilliant new addition to Bishopsgate!
