The much-loved City Beerfest is back to celebrate its 10-year anniversary at the historic Guildhall Yard on Thursday 11 July, from 12.30pm to 9pm.
This year’s festival is set to be the most memorable yet, bringing together a selection of top brewers, a variety of food stalls, and live music.
Delivered by the City of London Corporation in partnership with The Worshipful Company of Brewers, the event celebrates a selection of the finest brewers from the UK and Ireland, including St Austell Brewery, Guinness, Harvey’s Brewery, McMullen and Son’s River Town Brewing, Meantime Brewing Company, Renegade Brewery, Shepherd Neame, Timothy Taylors, plus London-based Camden Town Brewery, Fourpure, Signature Brew and Five Points Brewing Company. Over 35 different beers will be available – including non-alcoholic, low alcohol and gluten free options.
City Beerfest has become a cherished tradition in the Square Mile, bringing together beer enthusiasts, workers, residents, and visitors for a good cause, with all profits donated to The Lord Mayor’s Appeal to support three partner charities.
Over the years, the festival has raised more than £150,000 for charity. This year, to mark the 10-year anniversary, the City Corporation is inviting visitors to book their tickets and raise money to support MQ Mental Health Research, Homewards and National Numeracy.
City Beerfest is part of Destination City, the City of London Corporation’s growth strategy for the Square Mile. City Beerfest 2024 is sponsored by Hempsons.
City of London Corporation Policy Chairman, Chris Hayward, said:
“City Beerfest has become a summer highlight in the City’s calendar. And as we mark its 10th anniversary, it’s a wonderful chance for the Square Mile’s workers, residents, and visitors to come together and raise a glass for a great cause, the Lord Mayor’s appeal.
“We’re delighted to work with The Worshipful Company of Brewers once again to celebrate the brewing craft and showcase some of the finest beers from the UK and Ireland – all in an iconic setting at Guildhall Yard.”
The full event programme will be announced in the coming weeks. To find out more about the event and book tickets, visit thecityofldn.com/citybeerfest.

About the Brewers’ Company
The Worshipful Company of Brewers, or Brewers’ Company as it is more generally known, is one of the ancient Livery Companies of the City of London. Once responsible for governing the beer trade in London, the Company today remains closely connected to the brewing industry through its members.
The Brewer’s Company is active in promoting the brewing industry by providing a meeting place and facilities for member companies and a forum for social contact for those within the industry and associated organisations, as well as promoting education and training in the brewing sector. In common with many Livery Companies, the Brewers’ Company has inherited responsibility for several charitable Foundations and Trusts over the years. Its charities, which between them distribute around £2 million annually, support four schools, as well as awarding grants principally focusing on young people and the needy.
About The Lord Mayor’s Appeal
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal’s strategic aim is to create A Better City for All that is inclusive, healthy, skilled and fair. This is done via four thought leadership initiatives – Power of Inclusion, This is Me, We Can Be and City Giving Day – which offer learning, development and engagement opportunities for employees across the Square Mile and beyond. Delivering an impact in the City that transforms lives, The Appeal also raises funds for its partner charities, MQ Mental Health Research, Homewards and National Numeracy via a series of annual events and corporate and livery donations.
