City of London: Union Strike Action on TfL Services – November 2024

Following announcements from Aslef and the RMT, tube strikes are planned which will affect services on some days in November. If strikes go ahead, TfL will operate as many services as possible.

We expect disruption on Tube services on the following days: Sunday 3rd November, Tuesday 5th to Saturday 9th November, and Tuesday 12th November.

How they expect services to run:

Sunday 3 November
* Tube services will finish earlier than normal. Customers should expect to complete their journey by 17:00 hrs.

Monday 4 November:
* Normal service expected

Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 November:
* Service disruption expected. Any services that run will start late and finish early

Thursday 7 November:
* No tube services will operate at all.

Friday 8 November:
* Severe disruption on the tube, including night tube. Any services that do run, will start late and finish early.

Saturday 9 November:
* Tube services will start late.

Sunday 10-Monday 11 November:
* The Tube will operate as normal, but some services may be affected by planned engineering works

Tuesday 12 November
* Severe disruption on the Tube expected. Any services that run will start late and finish early.

Other TfL services
* There are no strikes planned on other TfL services during this period
* Some DLR, London Overground (including Night Overground) and Elizabeth line services may not  stop at certain stations with Tube lines. This is due to possible station closures
* Other transport services will be extremely busy and journeys may be delayed
* Roads will be extremely busy

* If you need to travel, plan ahead. Consider walking and cycling where possible.
