Today, I was delighted to join Tanith Cook, in welcoming the Institute of Chartered Foresters to Epping Forest today for their conference, which happened to also fall on the United Nation’s World Environment Day.
Epping Forest is designated a European Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation by Natural England.
At 8,000 acres, it is one of the last ancient woodlands in the South of England and affectionately known as the ‘Green Lungs of London’, as the largest free open spaces in the capital.
Our industry leading conservation team relish the opportunity to discuss and explore management techniques which prolong the life and environmental impact of our 55,000 ancient trees in a forest of more than 1 million.
