Bishopsgate: Arrest following Bag Theft in Pub

Earlier today, a 30-year-old man was arrested on Alderman’s Walk in the City of London on suspicion of a bag theft from the King’s Arms pub on Wormwood Street in Bishopsgate.

Plain clothed police officers saw him steal a patron’s bag. He was stopped outside and brought straight into custody. The bag was swiftly returned to the victim.

Another reminder that if you chose to commit crime in Bishopsgate, you will face the full force the law, because we have eyes and ears everywhere and this behaviour will not be tolerated.

Great work by the City of London Police: thank-you!
