I am supporting the Counter Terrorism Policing’s campaign, which aims to encourage all members of the public to stay alert and help keep each other safe this winter.
We know that at this time of year the City becomes a lot busier as people start to enjoy the festive season through London’s many cultural and hospitality offerings. Sadly, with so many more people around, the risk of terrorism increases.
Together, we want everyone to trust your instincts and report anything that doesn’t feel right. That includes you!
You can play a vital role. You know your surroundings better than anyone else and you know if something doesn’t seem right. This doesn’t just apply to work, but on your commute, where you live and where you socialise too.
This Christmas, let’s look out for each other by:
- Staying alert and trusting your instincts
- If you see or hear something that doesn’t feel right at work, report it to your security team. In an emergency call 999
- Complete the free Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) e-learning course
Let’s keep each other safe this winter. Remember, you are never wasting anyone’s time if something doesn’t look or feel right. Trust your intincts!
