Following an accident reported to me last week, where a van hit the bollard outside the Pan Pacific Hotel, I am pleased to report that the City of London Corporation’s highways team managed to re-install the bollard and make the paving safe within an impressive 24 hour window!
Thanks to the photos taken of the van, the City Corporation have also invoiced all of the costs back to the driver, so there is no cost to local tax payers.
