City Giving Day is back and it’s so wonderful to see it move back from the forced virtual version we have had to endure for the last couple of years to be out in businesses and shops and restaurants in the City of London.
For those who may not have been involved previously, City Giving Day was founded by the The Lord Mayor’s Appeal with an aim to find solutions to the most pressing societal issues in London and beyond. Their strategy works on four key pillars, to create a City that is Inclusive, Healthy, Skilled & Fair. City Giving Day is a simple but impactful initiative that enables City companies and employees to celebrate and showcase their philanthropic and volunteering achievements and encourage others to get involved.
My congratulations to the team at the Lord Mayor’s Appeal for another great day and I look forward to next year.
